As a few of you might recall, one of my favorite singer-songwriter discoveries of 2008 was Matt Keating and his double album Quixotic. Well, Matt is back with a new digital release Between Customers, which is a much more mellow affair. Largely acoustic (but with full arrangements), it contains some new songs along with some reworkings of material from Quixotic.

BTW, the album only revisits two tracks from Quixotic, a slowed-down "Louisiana" and a bonus acoustic version of "St. Cloud". Overall, a very nice collection of new tunes from Keating.
