So I've been mulling the purchase of a new digital SLR for a couple of months and finally pulled the trigger. And I am very happy that I did - I've finally got a camera I can really do what I want with. I also purchased a simple Canon 50mm f1.8 portrait lens (under $100!) and have the aperture capability to take really nice indoor photos without a flash. Flash photography has been my pet peeve for a long time, but this camera (Canon EOS Rebel Xti) with this lens is just what I was looking for.
Anyway, that's a long-winded explanation of why the Amelia photos have been slow lately. Our old digital camera just wasn't cutting it, but I do have some photos from our trip to Disneyland in December to post here shortly. In the meantime, have a gander at this compelling subject matter: Amelia having her Saturday morning bottle in all her rumpled glory.
UPDATE 1:15pm: I added more photos to the photo album.
UPDATE 2/24: Okay, okay - last round of photos have been added to the album. We'll just call it Twenty-Four Hours In The Life of Amelia.
